Products Sales and Digital Downloads

Full or Partial Refund

A replacement product or digital file will be considered on a case by case merit.

No Refund

  • Coupon or Gift Certificate balances not used by the “use by date”.
  • No refund will be given for non delivery if wrong address is provided during checkout.
  • You decide you no longer want the product.


James Doyle Photography is happy to refund payments for bookings under the following conditions.

James Doyle Photography relies on your booking and payment to make important arrangements in scheduling activities. If for any reason you need to cancel, please notify me as early as possible. If notification of cancellation is received later than the stated cut off time before the start of the activity, I may retain a portion of the fee paid to cover my costs in providing such activities. James Doyle Photography reserves the right to cancel a booking if full payment has not been received before the start of the activity or within the stated cut off point for tours or other activities.

Activities may be cancelled by James Doyle photography if the minimum number of bookings for each activity is not met, in this case a full refund, (minus an administrative fee on some activities) will be made or you may reschedule to another date or activity of equal value within 12 months.


Tuition, Fieldtrip or Workshops (excluding Tours)

Full or Partial Refund

  • If you cancel the booking of the tuition or activity more than seven (7) days before the activity commencing, you can claim a full refund or you may reschedule to another date or activity of equal value within 12 months.
  • If adverse weather or other natural event prevents the activity from being conducted in a safe manner, a refund will be paid in full or you can reschedule another date or activity of the same price within 12 months.
  • If during the activity, the activity is disrupted due to circumstances outside of our control, such as bad weather forces us to finish early, you may claim a proportional amount of refund but this does not apply if you leave early on your own decision.

No Refund

  • No refund will be given under any circumstance if you fail to attend the activity on the day and at the time shown at the time of booking.


Photographic Tours

Due to the complexities in organising these tours there are administrative costs incurred by James Doyle Photography prior to commencement of any such tour. A refund or proportional refund will be given if the following conditions are met.

Full or Partial Refund

  • If you cancel your booking before ninety (90) days of the tour commencing, you can claim a full refund, minus an administrative fee of 10% of the deposit amount.
  • If you cancel your booking between ninety (90) and sixty (60) days before the tour commencing, you can claim a refund minus an administrative fee of 50% of the deposit amount.

No Refund

  • No refund will be given if you cancel less than thirty (30) days before the start of the tour. (If I can fill your space, I will provide a full refund, minus a $250.00 administrative fee).
  • If you fail to attend or are late attending the tour.
  • If you decide to leave the tour early.


Goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


If you would like to Request a Refund

Due to the hot weather conditions this summer, I will not be undertaking Full Day Private Tuition sessions in the field, until the weather cools. You can still book a date for a later time in the year. You will have 12 months for your session to take place. If you have any questions, please contact me to discuss your needs.
