Australian Subtropical Fungi is a field guide to some of the interesting and unusual fungi of the Australian subtropics, particularly the South East Queensland region.

The guide covers 115 species, with illustrations and descriptions of each. Many of the species covered in  this Australian Subtropical Fungi book appear for the first time in a field guide.

Australian Subtropical Fungi is aimed at field naturalists wanting to develop an interest in the fungi of the Australian subtropics. It contains a simple morphological key to the main groups of fungi. The fungi of the Australian subtropics are a very diverse and little studied group of organisms, many of which appear to be unique to the region.

This would be a great book to have as a reference for identifying species photographed during your photography fieldtrips in South East Queensland and Northern NSW.

Fascinating reading with plenty of photos to identify different species found out in the field. Combined with the A Field Guide to Australian Fungi book it has you pretty well covered for many of the different species to be found throughout Australia and Queensland.
